1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of The Straw Bale Lodge website and services. By using our website and services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of them, you must not use our website or services.

2. Booking Terms

When making a booking with The Straw Bale Lodge, the following terms apply:

• A deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required to secure your reservation.
• Full payment is required 4 weeks prior to your stay.
• Bookings made less than 4 weeks before arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
• The Lodge is not suitable for children.
• Check-in time is from 4:00 PM, and check-out time is by 10:00 AM.

3. Cancellation Policy

Our Standard Cancellation policy for bookings made through our website or directly with us is as follows:

• If you cancel 10 weeks or more prior to your stay, we will offer you a full refund.
• If you cancel between 10 to 4 weeks prior to your stay, we will offer you a 75% refund. If you decide to rebook at the time of cancellation, you will just be charged a £50 administration fee.
• If you cancel 4 weeks or less before your stay, no refund will be possible.

4. House Rules

During your stay at The Straw Bale Lodge, we ask that you observe the following rules:

• No smoking inside the Lodge.
• No pets allowed.
• No parties or events without prior permission.
• Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
• Please report any damages or issues promptly.

5. Liability

The Straw Bale Lodge accepts no liability for:

• Loss or damage to your personal belongings during your stay.
• Injuries or accidents that occur on the property due to negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines.
• Service interruptions beyond our control (e.g., power outages, water supply issues).

We recommend that guests have appropriate travel insurance for their stay.

6. Website Use

You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website. You must not use our website in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful.

7. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you.
